Marielis Garcia received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Marymount Manhattan College.  She has a background in teaching dance, including Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Creative Movement. Marielis has danced with the following companies: Steps Repertory Company, Douglas Dunn and Dancers, Dramaticdance, Xodus Dance Collective, and City Dance Ensemble. She has also had the opportunity to perform pieces by Paul Taylor, Twyla Tharp, Johannes Wieland, Jennifer Muller, and David Marquez.
